| Since former National Hammer Dulcimer Champion and renowned recording artist Russell Cook built his first instrument in 1979, he and his craftsmen at Master Works have handcrafted Hammer Dulcimers that have continued to grow in design and quality. Approximately 30 years and 10,000 handcrafted instruments later, Russell Cook and Master Works are still setting the standard in innovative dulcimer building and design. Master Works continues to accept invitations to sponsor and promote the National Hammer Dulcimer Contest as well as several state and regional contests, festivals, concerts, workshops and events. Master Works Hammer Dulcimers incorporate the finest materials offered to create a long lasting, lightweight instrument that stands the test of time.
