Representative Jim Dunegan (left) welcomes Master Works to Oklahoma.

Senator Wes Watkins initiated a wonderful program in Southeastern Oklahoma of grants to build business incubators to draw businesses and spinoffs and start-ups to the state.  It worked quite well for us!  The organization that administrates these, Rural Enterprises, was tickled to have such an unusual business move into the area and took advantage of us often by bringing guests from all over the nation by to show off their “catch”.  It really is a wonderful project and we are still grateful for Wes Watkins foresight which enable us to move to Oklahoma sooner than we dreamed we could.  You know, Bennington is my home town and Merla grew up 21 miles away in Durant.  We always intended to retire here but what a blessing it was to get to have a portion of our work take place here in 1994 then move everything here in 2005.
