2,000 ringing strings in a room for hours is an experience you’d never forget. Mt. View, AR is the location and the last weekend of April the date. The Southern Regional Dulcimer Convention was the original name but is now known as The Dulcimer Jamboree. There’s always a great time awaiting us and the jam sessions are world renown. To top that all off, it is the place I truly fell in love with the hammer dulcimer. An annual reunion with all our dulcimer friends (or some of them, at least) revives my first love (or second if you ask Merla) and brings back a flood of memories and melodies. You should put Mt. View on your list of must see destinations and the end of April is the perfect time to do it. ![]() |
