Clampity, clamp, clamp, clamp.
How many clamps should you have to glue up a hammer dulcimer?  I don’t know – I’ve never had enough!  This was probably about 1986 or so in the workshop in Burleson, TX. The boys loved to come to the workshop with me and tinker around with what tools I felt were safe for them.  They loved the hand-crank drill.  Cory would get so frustrated trying to hammer nails into hard maple!  Little did he know it was really a great lesson in life – brains over brawn.
