The Dulcimore Festival in Lisbon, OH, May of 2007. 
The dulcimer club puts on quite a show at one of the neatest festivals we’ve been to in a while.  A beautiful Boy Scout facility on the border of Pennsylvania provided the setting for a weekend of workshops, jamming and concerts (the food was great, too).  The highlight of the weekend, for me, was visiting with Mitzie Collins and hearing her in concert.  She is a wonderful lady from Rochester, NY who has played dulcimer for many decades and sings beautifully.  She typically brings along an antique dulcimer or two to play on and share with the audience.  She’s truly an icon of the dulcimer world and the Dulcimore festival is definitely one you should put on your list to attend one day.
