Another great dulcimer player gets titled.
One of the finest things we have done over the past 27 years of professionally building and sharing dulcimers has been our commitment to supporting dulcimer playing contests.  They offer an opportunity to improve substantially, to those with the willingness to try, by preparing for the contest with all their best ideas, music and skill.  A final goal with a specific date is important plus you know someone of substantial skill is actually listening to you CRITICALLY making a final judgment of your efforts – not for everyone for sure.  This presentation was to a great player (Pam Bowman) from the heart of the dulcimer world in the middle of Michigan.  The contest was the Southern Regional at Mt. View, AR about 2004.  Pam is a fine musician and a wonderful lady – try jamming with her someday!
