Concerts.
Just how far out of my comfort range can I get?  Performing on stage alone is a big deal, for sure!  There’s no one else to carry the load, right?  Try performing with other professional musicians (used to playing with someone who actually knew what they were doing!) and still being the focus of the evening.  I think everyone in the world should be required to experience this at least once!!!  Well, to be fair, everyone of these wonderful musicians were great to and for me, teaching me lots of techniques I would have never learned otherwise plus showing off their own talents freely bringing the concerts to a much higher level than I could have ever achieved on my own.   Oh yes, I forgot to mention the hundreds of hours of preparation for each of these little activities!  I’m afraid we may have become unaware of all the hard work great performers invest in their craft (I’m talking about others who are really good at this!).
